Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade Fortnight will take place from Monday 9 September – Sunday 22 September 2024.

This year, join us in urging everyone to Be the Change, by picking up Fairtrade products and speaking up for fairer trade.

2024 is Fairtrade’s 30th anniversary, so we want to use the occasion to highlight how 30 years of working together has made the FAIRTRADE Mark a leader of life-changing impact for farmers and workers across the world.

‘Thanks to the Fairtrade Premium, we can provide opportunities to young people in our community.’  Maria Doris, Fairtrade banana grower in Colombia.

Maris Doris Calvo - Banana Grower from Orihueca, Colombia

Maria Doris and her cooperative have used their Fairtrade Premium to provide educational opportunities for young women.

30 years of Fairtrade sales have meant over £1.7 billion in Fairtrade Premium. That’s given more power to farmers like Maria Doris, driving real change in their communities.

But the farmers and workers who supply us with so much of our food are still facing some of the most urgent issues of our time. Which is why, in our 30th year, we are calling for greater price and power for farmers and for rapid action on environmental sustainability and climate justice.

Join us today and add your voice to the demand for fairer trade deals. Your actions can help influence businesses and decision makers to step up and drive the change that is needed.

How can you get involved?
