1. Tell us a bit about your business
Q3 operates as a commercial & domestic cleaning company in Guernsey. We also provide specialist disinfection services. We currently employ 120 staff, full and part time, in a variety of locations around the Island.
2. Where can people find you?
Our head office is along St George’s Esplanade, however most of our staff work out and about looking after our client sites.
3. What products do you use or supply that are certified Fairtrade?
Break out consumables, tea, coffee & sugar so far…
4. How long have you been using or supplying Fairtrade (approximately)?
We had our first delivery in December 2021
5. Do you currently support Fairtrade in another way (e.g. Fairtrade Fortnight events).
We will promote other Fairtrade products with our staff and see if we can incentivise their use.
6. Why is supporting Fairtrade important to you and your business?
We feel that the morals and ethics of Fairtrade resonate with our own and we recognise the importance of fairly rewarding the hard work of the producers of the products.
7. Do you support any other environmental or community initiatives, either locally or worldwide? Yes as much as we can, Q3 is an Eco Active Leader in Jersey and we are a Recognised Service Provider with the Living Wage Foundation in the UK. Locally we are registered with the Guernsey Employment Trust.
