SUMMARY:Fairtrade Wine Tasting Night
DESCRIPTION:Do you love your wine? Then why not join us for a night of discovery as we learn all about some of the most popular Fairtrade wines from our expert sommelier. \nThis Fairtrade Fortnight event\, kindly sponsored by CI Coop\, will take place on Thursday 19th September from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Old Government House Hotel\, St Peter Port. Ticket price includes a guided tasting of six Fairtrade wines (two white\, two red\, one rose and one sparkling)\, led by the Cooperative Group’s lead wine buyer\, Edward Robinson. You will also hear stories of Fairtrade wine producers from Walter Carol\, export director for La Riojana\, the largest Fairtrade winery and co-op in Argentina. Light sharing platters of cheese\, biscuits and crisps will accompany the tasting. Raffle tickets to win bottles of your favourite wine(s) will also be on sale on the evening. \n£20 a ticket
