We are excited to finally launch our Fairtrade Guernsey reusable hot drinks cups, produced with the support of the Skipton Community Fund. Made of biodegradable rice husk and printed with the winning designs from last year’s school’s competition, they are a perfect way of reminding people to choose Fairtrade every time.
The cups were designed last year by Zara Smart, then in Year 6 at Les Hautes Capelles Primary School, and Sam Le Pelley, then in Year 8 at Elizabeth College. Throughout Fairtrade Fortnight and going forward, they will be on sale on at all our events, through the website and our Facebook page, and at the Channel Island Co-operative Grand Marché stores.
